Alicia Franklin York

Family District Judge, 311th Judicial District

Alicia York earned her BBA at Mount Mercy College, and her J.D. from St. Mary’s School of Law. She was appointed by Governor Rick Perry in 2014, was elected in 2015 and is currently seeking re-election. Since 2015, Judge York has volunteered her time in presiding over the only Harris County Family Intervention-Infant Toddler Court (Family Drug Court). Governor Greg Abbott also appointed Judge York to the Specialty Courts Advisory Committee in 2016.
